Kansas City Streetcar Extension
To celebrate the expansion of the Kansas City Streetcar, our team set out to create a launch film that felt less like a public announcement and more like a love letter to the city it serves.
Through music-driven storytelling, the project highlighted the people, neighborhoods, and everyday moments connected by this new chapter in Kansas City’s growth. Over the course of a two-month production, we transformed a civic milestone into a shared cultural experience, culminating in a public premiere attended by more than 5,000 community members.
My Role
As Creative Producer, I supported the project from concept through delivery, helping translate a civic milestone into a polished public-facing campaign.
I independently cast more than 40 community participants across age, race, neighborhood, and lived experience; coordinated an eight-person crew across four production days; supported creative briefs, client presentations, shot direction, and production planning; and helped produce the photo, video, recap, and post-event storytelling assets that extended the campaign beyond the premiere.
